Unlike traditional volunteer programs, we recognize that the time and expertise of seasoned professionals are invaluable. That’s why we provide an honorarium for mentors who dedicate a full day to shaping the life of a mentee. This ensures we attract high-caliber leaders who bring not just stories, but lived experience, wisdom, and networks that matter.
How It Works
1. One Full Day of Mentorship
Share your desire to mentor and explain the Mentors Counte model.
2. Highlight the Value
Emphasize that the program is not just about suits—it’s about building confidence, self-worth, and vision for the future.
3. Honorarium for Time & Expertise
Day rates are aligned with professional levels:
C-Level / Presidents
$1,000
VP / Director
Level
$750
Manager / Supervisor Level
$500
Individual Contributor Level
$250
Mentors may keep the honorarium or donate it back to support future mentees and expand the program.

Step 1:
Sign Up to join Mentors Counte Alliance
Fill out our quick application form to let us know who you are and why you want to mentor. We’ll review your information and get in touch with next steps.
Step 2:
Suit Up
Once approved, you’ll receive guidance on how to prepare for your mentorship day. You’ll either bring a suit to gift your mentee or sponsor one through our program. We’ll also provide simple training on how to teach tie-tying, presentation, and the basics of dressing for success.
Step 3
Share a Meal, Share Your Story
The day ends with a meal at a local restaurant. Over dinner, you’ll share life lessons, answer questions, and show him what respect, resilience, and success look like in action.
Step 4
Leave a Lasting Impact
In just one day, you’ll give a boy tools and memories he will carry for a lifetime. You’ll plant seeds of self-worth, dignity, and ambition that can change the direction of his future.
